Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

EmbedPrep AI is an online educational platform that offers both free and premium content for embedded systems engineering. This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made through our platform via Razorpay payment gateway.

2. Premium Plan Details

Premium access unlocks advanced embedded systems modules, firmware development labs, microcontroller deep dives, protocol mastery content, driver development guides, Edge AI content, master lab projects, and advanced interview preparation.

3. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

• Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the purchase date.
• The user must not have accessed more than 20% of the premium content.
• A valid reason for the refund request must be provided.
• Refunds for technical issues (payment failures, double charges) are processed at any time.

4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:

• Request made after 7 days of purchase
• User has accessed more than 20% of premium content
• Violation of our Terms of Service
• Account suspended due to policy violations
• Change of mind without valid reason after significant content access
• Duplicate purchase where the first purchase was already refunded

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

1. Email us at embedprepai@gmail.com with the subject line “Refund Request”
2. Include your registered email address and Razorpay payment/order ID
3. Provide the reason for your refund request
4. Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days

6. Refund Processing

• Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days
• Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method (bank account, card, or wallet used during purchase)
• The refund amount will be the full purchase price (₹999 or the discounted amount paid)
• Bank processing times may vary; please allow up to 7 additional business days for the amount to reflect in your account

7. Cancellation

Premium access is a one-time purchase for a fixed duration (6 months). There is no recurring subscription to cancel. Once the 6-month period expires, your account will automatically revert to the free plan. There are no automatic renewals or hidden charges.

8. Referral Discounts

If a referral code was used during purchase, the refund amount will be the actual amount paid (discounted price), not the original price. Referral commissions awarded to the referring growth manager may be adjusted accordingly.

9. Failed Payments & Disputes

• If a payment fails but the amount is deducted, it will be automatically refunded by Razorpay within 5-7 business days
• For double charges, contact us immediately with payment proof — we will initiate a refund within 24 hours
• For payment disputes, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank
